CaterinG Coordinator

Everybody does a little bit of everything at Alchemy Pops, but the primary responsibilities of the Catering Coordinator are: 

  • Have a thorough knowledge and understanding of the Alchemy Pops menu
  • Ensure our delicious frozen pops are delivered timely and accurately
  • Know the needs of our customers, and provide appropriate communication to ensure satisfaction
  • Work as a team player with a passion for continuous learning
  • Strive to surprise and delight our customers

Your secondary responsibilities may include food preparation, cooking, packaging, sanitizing and maintaining the overall cleanliness of the pop kitchen. You'll be working with a close-knit team so cooperation and good humor are important!

We are looking for great communication and people skills, food service and/or retail experience is preferred. Must have own vehicle and acceptable driving record. Minimum age is 18 years old, able to lift and carry a minimum of 50 lbs., and ideally have an appreciation for all parts of the pop-making and serving process. This position starts as part-time with potential to become full-time, and work hours are focused on Thursday-Sunday.

Summer Intern

Our Summer Intern will work closely with the Alchemy Pops Owner and Poperations staff to contribute to the sales and marketing efforts of the company. Primarily, this position will involve:  Creating and scheduling fresh, relevant, and engaging content to social media (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram & LinkedIn) on a weekly basis; Updating the organization's website to reflect important changes, such as new offerings and upcoming events; Planning sales opportunities for Fort Worth Pop-Up events for the company (sales commission available); interacting with customers at our South Main Pop Shop and other events as assigned. The intern will also assist in the preparation and coordination of communications materials for new product launches, partnership announcements and Pops for a Cause events. This position requires a commitment of 12 hours per week, including weekly check-ins with the Owner & Chief Alchemist in our Fort Worth, TX location.

Internship Qualifications & Requirements:

- Excellent, demonstrable research and communication skills
- Ability to organize and prioritize work and meet deadlines
- Ability to follow instructions, work independently and be self-motivating
- Sales experience a plus

Pop Stars

Do you love serving up smiles and fun events? Then you should come help us bring the pops to the people as a Pop Star! You'll be helping run catering events by serving our customers, giving out samples of our product and helping deliver our frozen treats where they need to go. 

Qualifications & Requirements:

- Excellent, demonstrable research and communication skills

- Food Handlers Certificate (must earn if not already completed)
- Sales experience a plus
